Santa Monica Pier

Down in Santa Monica, where route 66 ends, they built a giant pier. On the giant pier they put a carnival. We decided to spend the day there riding the rides. We even had a picnic lunch on the beach. I loved riding the roller coaster with Claire, and Michael still talks about riding the Pacific Plunger. The views were gorgeous and we even got some more squished pennies for our collection.
