Magic Kingdom

We just got back from our 5 day trip into the wonderful world of Disney. I've made quite a few posts about it, so you'll have to scroll down to see all the adventures.
But let's start with our trip into the Magic Kingdom. We were lucky enough to have Dustin's mom with us on our trip. She was a big help, but also a blast to have around.One of Michael's favorite rides: Buzz Lightyear The boys' reactions after we made them get off DumboMichael thought the animals on the jungle safari were SO cool. James just liked riding the boat.
Michael tried to make friends with every stork/squirrel/crane/lizard he sawThe Magic Kingdom was the best, most tiring part of our trip. We put the boys to bed that night and Karen watched them while Dustin and I went back for the "extra magic hours." We only stayed until 1:00, but the fireworks were amazing and the 5 minute lines were awesome. We can't wait to go back!

Port Orleans French Quarter

Most of the resorts in Disneyworld have some sort of theme and ours was no exception. It was the French Quarters in New Orleans. I loved eating fresh Bignets every day, and we had a beautiful view of the river from our room. The kids favorite part about staying there: the dragon slide at the pool.

T-Rex Cafe

There is a great restaurant in Downtown Disney called the T-Rex Cafe. There is a sand pit where kids can dig up fossils while you wait for your table. There are moving, roaring dinosaurs everywhere and a meteor shower inside every 20 minutes. It was Michael's dream come true.

Houston Vacation

It had been over 4 months since I'd seen my parents, so I decided to go down and visit for 10 days. As always, the boys had lots of fun.They played in the backyard for hours every day. The weather was perfect.James learned how to crawl up on the piano bench the very first day. their concerts were awesomeMichael was my dad's shadow wherever he went outside. michael's a gardener in trainingThere is a lizard caught under that grate. michael was so sad when we had to let Liz go back to his family.Being 'one of the big boys'the results of having TOO much fun
