July!
July is the only month all year that there isn't a single day of school. We decided to live it up. We went to the park, went for walks in the woods, had swim lessons, summer movies, play dates with friends and lots of other fun stuff. Ahhh the summer.
Houston Vacation
We spent a week in Houston playing with family and having a great time. We went to the boardwalk, we went to the beach, we made jam and Grandpa even let the boys help dig potatoes out of his garden. We love spending time with all the family and making fun memories. We feel so blessed they live this close, and that they let us crash their summer plans each year.
Grandpa taught the kids family home evening.
The boys love the beach, and this one was crawling with hermit crabs. This is a few of the ones they collected. We even took one back to Grandma's for the day, which she named Jamaica.
We released it at Kemah the next day. It RAN for the water the minute we put it down.
Scooter, as always, was a great source of entertainment for the kids.
Digging in Grandpa's garden for potatoes.
Watching a move with cousins.
Sleeping it all off on the long drive home.

San Antonio and Seaworld
Dustin's mom got free tickets to Seaworld so we all piled into van and drove down to San Antonio. It was our first time to go either place and we had a blast. The kids thought staying in a hotel made them royalty and continental breakfast was for Kings. On the way home I even convinced Dustin to stop in Round Rock so we could get the "Texas Size" doughnut. Perfect Weekend!
