Snow Day

A storm came rolling through Grapevine on the 5th and left a few inches of ice and snow. We were home-bound for a few days. Michael even missed 3 days of school! Here are some of our adventures:

North Pole Express

Michael had a field trip to ride the North Pole Express this week. I was a chaperone. We both put on our PJs and headed off for the North Pole. We had fun singing and dancing on the train and even got to see Santa.

Deck the Halls

Since we're selling our house this year, we had a very small version of our annual Christmas decorating party. There was still doughnuts and eggnog (the most important part).

Happy Thanksgiving

We spent a week in Oklahoma for Thanksgiving. The boys LOVED spending so much time with their cousins and grandparents.  Our first day there, a little snow storm came through town. It was so fun playing in the .5 inch of snow! We also went to the zoo, went bowling and of course stuffed ourselves silly every day. We made lots of great memories, but the one things the kids keep mentioning is when James threw up at the Zoo. Poor Mimi had to throw her scarf away : )
