The Zoo

This past April I had my first chance to chaperon a school field trip. We went to the Ft. Worth zoo. They gave us small groups of children and told us to go do whatever we wanted. We met back at the buses 3 hours later. For any of you who have ever supervised three 6 year olds around a public zoo in 90 degree weather, you know I barely lived to tell the tale. But we did manage to see every single animal in that whole zoo, have a picnic lunch and a whole lot of fun. I was very grateful my friend was able to watch James and Andrew so I could have this special memory with Michael.
